Biesse Intermac Edge Pro S F50 is a high-performance single-sided edge processing machine for grinding, polishing, and chamfering flat glass edges. The machine is designed for production environments with high demands for quality, flexibility, and reliable operation – both for visible edges and technical glass applications.
Edge Pro S F50 is available in several versions with different tool configurations and automation levels, including 10AV, 11A, and 14AV. Depending on the version, the machine can be equipped with up to 14 spindles, enabling flat edge, arris, and beveling in one continuous process.
The machine handles glass thicknesses from 3 to 40 mm as standard, and up to 51 mm in selected configurations. A variable processing angle from 0 to 45° allows flexible production of architectural glass, railings, interior glass, and safety glass.
Edge Pro S F50 is equipped with Biesse’s Spindle Control System (SCS), which automatically adjusts diamond and polishing spindles for optimal pressure control and smooth surface finish. The spindles are mechanically separated from the motors and driven via a belt, reducing vibrations and ensuring stable edge quality over time.
The double drive system for glass transport ensures precise synchronization and stable feeding, even when processing heavy glass – up to 350 kg per meter of conveyor. The machine can be configured for jumbo glass and integrated into automated production lines, adapted to the required production flow and capacity.
